Football Season is here.........Enough Said!!!!!!

I am the Defensive Coordinator at George Mason University. It has been an uphill battle to get Football as an NCAA sport here. We lost the Board of Visitors Vote by one last year. We do play a tough schedule. Our schedule includes mostly JV teams. We will play teams from Towson State, Bucknell, Georgetown, Lafayette, Princeton and the Naval Academy. We will also play the Varsity teams from Galluadet, Walter Reed and the 9th ranked team in Division III, Catholic University.

Hopefully the Redskins will have a good season this year. They won their first preseason game against the New England Patriots. Champ Bailey and Larry Centers paid immediate dividends. They both scored touchdowns. The Redskins did lose linebacker Ken Harvey to retirement, but the linebacking core is young and holding their own. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!!!!!!!!

I wish the Wakefield Warriors good luck this season. I am a graduate of Wakefield. The Class of 1987. Football has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Football is a game that teaches teamwork. It also helps young boys become young MEN. Once again, good luck Warriors.
